Ideas from C-Span is back, whoo hoo.

Some might ask, what was it? why did you return?

Perhaps the evil force that lurks out there in the body of the turncoat emperor, or the 2012 prophecy that even people like the Hopi are said to have predicted.
Ironic that the phonetic pronunciation of the people like the hopi is connected to the end of the world. The audacity of the Hopi may well be the next book from the current president.

The need to write is a self fulfilling one for myself, the thought that people might read is irrelevant. As a history major I can think of this as a primary source in reference to my past.

Also last night I was inspired, I watched a Town Hall Meeting with Timothy Geithner, He is the man who's signature will appear on bottom right of all the currency printed during his term. His message is much more articulated then that of the president. He speaks with honesty and much more clarity then the president who is tied to campaigning, monied interests and convincing the american people. His straight talk isn't harpooned by media pundits the way politicians are, this man is a self proclaimed academic desk jockey, he can say things like "Americans need to save more." Without pissing off all those companies who donated to Obama, who want people to save less and buy their goods/services more.

The ideas of economics shouldn't be so foreign to the average citizen, for instance supply and demand happen in the natural world everyday as root systems fight over soil, as squirrels scrounge for nuts, and as men as a party will arrange themselves around the women there so as not to promote the gathering as a "sausage fest".
Resources are scarce, and the price of those resources fluctuates depending on demand. Things that are a necessity of life tend to have a strong demand. Water, food, and shelter tend to be the most basic, yet the United States has led its people to believe that Oil should also be seen as a necessity of our life, like our esteems former leader said at the Earth Summit in 1992 "The American way of life is not negotiable."

The problem is that it is negotiable, and the entity that does much of the negotiation is OPEC, our way of life is found in the phrase "plastics make it possible", so does OPEC who controls the resources that make plastics
Oils are the energy of hundred of thousands of years of fauna. These plants have combined their energy when broken down together under the earth and coalesced into the black gold we know today, a liquid made of powerful atomic bonds that can be released through heat. We love the ease of energy, letting the natural world and foreign workers do the labor for us.

Geithner understands all of this, he knows that the resources we have are rich, that water and arable land to produce food is scarce. He also knows that trouble looms ahead, that the dollar will fall when china asks for its money back, hopefully that will be after water becomes a financial commodity like grain and oil. Legislation is being put in place to stop that but it may not be able to hold its own against the financial needs of the country.
Right now if you believe like I do that water is the most precious resource, one of the only ways to invest in it as a commodity is through the Claymore S&P Global Water Index (ETF) under the symbol CGW.

The negligence of unchecked water usage has led to the lowering of the water table throughout the globe, and our own Ogalala aquifer is in future danger of being sucked dry by our need to water our sensual nutritious crops of corn and soybeans.
