I talked to a man who was a dance major in college and got injured. those two years were now down the drain, I thought what a defeating experience that must be particular to that major. It's similar maybe to a med student getting arthritis who wanted to be a surgeon.
I've recently thought about weather, in high school I took a meterology class for a quarter of the year, and we talked about how geography creates it's own weather patterns. A valley will heat up during the day and the mountains stay cool, and when the sun goes down then the movement of hot into cool sometimes creates storms on a daily basis. I wonder if the violence of the weather of the areas affects behavior. AS heat rises so does crime say various studies, I wonder if thunder or rain apply as well, they say that seattle and portland and rainy areas have a above average suicide rate. Maybe stormy areas have high rates of insomnia.

This should be an onion headline.

I watched a movie about the Kon-tiki, a professor named Thor from Norway proved that it may have been possible for Inca's to sail west ward to the Polynesian island's. There is nothing like 1950's footage of tanned bearded Norwegian sailors fishing to create an engaging documentary.
