I went on a kick today washing the dishes, I started at thinking about bill hicks and then how he(bill hicks) tries to get the message across with humor that we(humans) should all kind of just care about each other. I like to think of it as humanitarian humor, comedy thats filtered with sarcasm and irony. I thought about it, we should all agree that evolution existed, if evolution existed then why wouldn't we all just agree that the best thing to do is figure out what forward movement we want the world to take then do it. I mean yes there can still be a god, but he/she/it has to be everyone's god if god exists. because if evolution happened then we can agree that we evolved as instinctual animals, we instinctually care for our children, we are instinctually attracted to people to have sex with them, nobody is attracted to someone so that they could kiss them thier whole life.
(two people hanging out)
1st person:"hey dude so your like totally into them huh?"
2nd Person: "Yeah like I could totally like see my self just wanting to kiss them the rest of my life, not any further though I'm only attracted to kissing them."
So if there is no right and wrong to instincts. They just are, and evolution happened and we all emerged from primordial goo and if god created all life together then why would some of the instincts he created us with be bad? I mean why would some animals instinctually kill thier young or why would humans want to fuck all the time that leads to adultery, in the bible and other religious text it says sex is bad I.E. (a sin something you must atone for or try not to do to reach some sort of hierarchy within that religious beliefs.) and at what point in the evolution of life earth did the god say that humans are now the ones I want to be best? Never and so the point is we are all humans and we all have instincts, and we should agree on that and get past any squibbing about god or moral beliefs, and that if you really care about the world getting better then you do it by trying to do the most good possible rather then fighting the people who think you are doing bad. Because I bet people can agree most on what is right to do then what is wrong to do.
Then somehow I thought about corn and how maybe corn subsidies had gotten so high even though our government didn't really need all that corn, they just didn't care enough to pay and provide the farmers families with living wage while they adjusted to the new economy and tell the growers to grow something else or stop being a farmer. But I think maybe it's weird we grow so much corn when alot of it was keeping people fatter, by making meat cheaper as most corn goes to meat, and fatty meats, not healthy ones. Corn also goes to corn syrup, and high fuctrose corn syrup is in all our foods and also makes us fat which lead me to this article.

and that was big, then I though about what the biggest farm companies in the nations income is? I mean should companies that live richly in our country be allowed to profit off of horrible conditions and cheap labor in other countries, sure all the Microsoft exec's are rich but do any of them care about the conditions of these people building their x-box in china, or if they have health care?
Bill gates isn't a humanitarian until he renounces the things he can't control.

Some how I got thinking about what company in the US contributes most to US GDP signaling it's power among our nation, they say Rockefeller and Vanderbilt at one time accounted for as much as 15 percent. Anyone know the answer? or where to look for it? i'm curious.
When mentioning the names of famous business people like that I cannot help but pause on my favorite celebrity "Oprah" she pretends she cares as well, builidng schools in south america, crying about people all the time on her show, I wonder when she got the time caring about people to accumulates a billion dollars. Billionaire and and the words "caring individual" don't exactly scream at you. You must not have spent a whole lot of time making that money if you were doing charitable caring stuff so much. But I understand you have to do what you love along with helping people, so obviously oprah may possibly love money. But people have to stop giving a shit about celebrities because they make a living selling you things. I wonder how big endorsements are for athletes? bigger then their salary sometimes? I mean a lot of them are known because you have seen them on tv, which is a object primarily used to sell things, I think you only really get 19 or so minutes now on a 30 min program but I'm not sure, either way it's a lot 0f selling you things and thats how the networks make money to pay their shows and performers. Therefore Oprah just wants to sell you things and dosen't care about kids in africa.
Looking at other countries govt websites and looking at what sort of access you have to files or the sorts of things they are promoting is an odd thing.
