This morning I feel like sleep, that my skin desires to be cocooned and kept warm, as my spine should be removed from the treacherous force of gravity. Sleep away this drowsiness, this weather, this citation, this unexplainable soreness in my neck. In Zanzibar their is a monkey that is one of the only mammals that possesses the ability of a digestive system to eat unripened fruit. I wonder how Darwinian that is, it would be so much easier to feed the world if we could eat crops that weren't ripe but would maybe be wiped out because of an upcoming storm or flood.

Yesterday I analogized the U.S. world mentality to the high school football star who goes away to college and is kind of a dick, because he dosen't realize that nobody cares that he used to be really awsome at football. Someone need to explain to the US population that our lifstyle isn't sustainable, tha dick cheyne's proclomation of a "Non-negotiable Lifestyle" is far from the world view. We need to do things that are more expensive yet resource efficeint, like watering our crops with drip irrigation rather then having over half of it evaporate when sprayed up into the air. How strong is an economy with a huge foriegn debt? what products do we produce that are nessecary for the global system to keep running? I can't figure it out why we are trying so hard to change other countries and forgetting that we need to adapt to changing world as well. Nobody in power wants to jeopardize getting votes by saying the people are making bad decisions.

O'Sleep, oh haven of apathy
you cuddle my deepest desires
companion of comfort I await thee
