They know how to do it right.

My roomate and I digressed into a flashback of wrestling entertainment from our youth(junior high days) I mentioned the longevity of the undertaker, who has been in the wrestling biz since at least the creation of wrestle mania on Nintendo 89'. I wonder how his body holds up to career NFL linemen.

We got into startrek along the way, it's amazing the information you can recall from when you were younger, shit you pay no attention to, background noise to you daily life. But it's sticks with you like peanut butter to the roof of the mouth or popcorn in the crook of your gum. Children are odd characters in the real world, I've heard that evolutionarily they grew to be considered cute so as to increase the amount of survival and caring they obtain. They are sometimes exploited, yet they are always used when trying to gain sympathy. If a war break out a picture of a dead or mutilated child evokes more ethos then does one of a middle aged woman, this doesn't really make jive right in the Judo-Christian (they flip you over their hip they preach a little gospel) sense of everyone is created equal, a dead baby should be just as horrible as any other dead person.

I see they made a movie version of bridge to teribithia

which is somewhat disappointing because movies are usually made for profit and no other reason unless they are a documentary of some sort. the trailer doesn't seem to show much of the home life of the two which if I remember was a central and motivating theme of the book. The only benefit of this is that people might read the book before seeing the movie, harry potter style. I'm still waiting till they remake Lois Lowry's "The giver" into a movie, I'd see that. Newberry award winners should be off limits for movies, but thats just my snobbish opinion.
