many times talking to my mother I think if it's somewhat part of being raised catholic that makes me challenge things so much. that it's the gag reflex that is emotionally installed, when you are forced to try and view the world in such strict of terms, you just naturally want to appose whatever is attempted to be forced down afterward. that vile taste of catholicism lingers somewhere near the back (click the yellow area) http://www.innerbody.com/image/nerv12.html
But listening to the radio tonight, they explored the imagination, and it made me think that teaching kids finite answers which many religions espouse, might be detrimental to thier imagination. I mean it leaves no room for questioning, religions don't promote anyone to think for themselves. think for yourself churches couldn't exist or draw many people together for fellowship, for thinking is not nearly as entertaining as the Metrodome.
think for yourself churches wouldn't have the same sense of unity.
there can be no solo exploration among groups, except if you test as a group I suppose.
it is undoubtedly human to wonder, and to create endings to our own wonderment, otherwise wouldn't we be wondering our whole lives? those pessimests would say that many would conclude there is no answers, which for those of us who wonder, would say ' that may be the case but... you can't prove it to me" and then that causes us to continue wondering about thier comments.
while all of this was going on, on the radio I heard Johnathon Miller from the BBC talking about his series Athiesim: A brief history of doubt.

Someone once told me this guy wrote a story in which there was no ending, and as irony would have it, many people suspect it was unfinished, but perhaps that was the point, of writing a monotonous life story of a man in brilliant writing.
writing about what I view of the channel that shows our decision makers at work
