On the Nature of things.

if only steven hawking could have been alive when the greeks and romans were discussing the beginings of everything. If only the science of today could combine with the philosophy of yesteryear, then maybe we could understand more that we are all just energy, be it on jupiter or a far away galaxy it's all made up of the same stuff.

Death does not concern us, because as long as we exist, death is not here. And when it does come, we no longer exist. -Epicurus

Netflix has been entertaining me for the past week, mostly documentaries. Katrina a requiem, it's amazing the powers images have, i wonder if people auditory learners are more effected by listening to sad words and visual learners by seeing sad things. What evokes the most sympathy, is it the image of people floating dead in water, an old woman dead slumped in a wheelchair, all cause food and water were to hard to distribute to the masses.
Oh poverty thou art a villain, you are the catalyst of Marx. You evoke reactions where you roam, anger that you persist.
Economists are convinced in our own selfishness, that we need to feel better then the next guy to motivate ourselves. That without reward there is no fulfillment of action. We are Pavlov's dog, but in a money sense. Damn the economy, damn the jobs we think we need to produce things we can buy to continue a cycle without purpose. There is no humanitarian goal of the economy, so it's odd that humanitarian goals of congress are weighed against the effect it would have on the economy, not the effect it would have on those it is trying to help.

But we must not look at the problem, what does it say about a country that dosen't want to show it's citizens whats going on.

What if the Germans destroyed all documentation of the Holocaust? Oh George Orwell how you would relish these days.
