Today in class we discussed the difference between fiction and history, my professor argued that footnotes define history that it is checkable. But nowadays he says people try not to use the word Fact, it's very Orwellian to think that nothing is fact, or maybe it's more psychology, or even perception and philosophy. I fact check therefore I am ... a historian. Diary is considered a primary source as it gives glimpses into the daily boring lives of sometimes farmers and merchant and peasants and the like. It makes me wonder where will blogs lie in the history books 100 years from now. you could almost argue that blogs are more authentic then diaries, much less banal, cept for those few who use them to record the daily activities

I'd like to think it could even be considered history, that hyperlinks are the new age footnotes, and that all the information you need to back up your daily thesis of a couple paragraphs are a couple of hyperlinks to newspapers that back your ideas.
People keep driving like idiots, I don;t blame them, if I was in a car and dictated where I went by flashing lights and signs, i'd feel like a rat in an experiment after awhile and would just constantly rush to get to the end. Constantly I see people speed up into red lights, nobody drives looking ahead anymore, it's all block by block, no big picture. I blame driving habits for a lot of the bad gas mileage, it's no wonder they made hybrids convert energy as you used the brake, that way they actually get better in the city gas mileage because people use the brake way too much, accelerate too fast, and are just plain impatient.
speed up to slow down
when I'm going round town
I speed up to slow down
see a red light, attack it for a fight
angry like a bull taking a matadors life
I don't care that petrol reserves ain't sound
that none of it comes out of our nations ground
fuck all that noise cause I speed up to slow down
writing about what I view of the channel that shows our decision makers at work
