If Rod Stewart and Barry Manliow had children together.
This evening I made a commitment to my teeth, I bought floss and mouth wash and I looked in the mirror and promised not to neglect them like foster care children ever again. I could almost see the mother of pearl under the light tone of yellow smiling slightly. I also insulated my windows tonight watching thin layers of plastic stretch across windows, singing to myself Tis a gift to be simple, an old Shaker song that Aaron Copeland copied. There are only 4 Shakers reported as of the last sentence that seems reason enough for a documentary upon their religion and the life of the remaining 4.
I watched Bill Moyers tonight now officially my favorite TV journalist, followed by Charlie Rose. Anyways ole Bill was doing a piece on Net Neutrality, and the started off by explaining that Western Union used to own the Telegraph lines and dictated the speed at which certain messages were sent, they set up a cohesion with the AP press and let their wire go through much faster, as well as other newspapers that wrote favorably about Western Union. They used this explanation in context of net Neutrality. The net used to be neutral being that any page would load the same speed no matter what the service you subscribed to, but as of 2005 the Govt stopped legislation the providers as to being fare and balanced about what speed the let users access all and any websites. There have been bill proposed, saying that only a neutral online society provides for fair and honest democracy. They talked about blogs and the news sources now being on an even level in the Internet.
Long live Bill Moyers, if you get the chance try and rent his multiple episode interview with Joseph Campbell the past centuries premier theologian. Interesting stuff. Campbell's phrase was "follow your bliss" not to be confused with "Ignorance is bliss" where I think a good motto is "Your ignorance is interfering with my bliss"
